Karen sometimes enjoys baking so her measuring cups are readily available. Again, seldom used objects are relegated to higher levels for convenience.  With her spice assortment, she has the high use items on the top as this is a lower level cabinet door. The other more seldom used spices wait on lower shelves.

Karen's kitchen is certainly one I would love to cook or bake in. It looks like House & Garden TV Channel to me, plus the fantastic Power Feng Shui.

There are endless options for "Custom Closets" I have seen working with my clients. Sports - specific closets for their children to use are a huge hit. This one trains children to directly go to and use a closet custom designed for their specific needs for their favorite sport or competition equipment. It is great life long training for the children and something they will use always, if trained to "organize" their lives from an early age.

I have seen clients create Arts and Crafts specific closets for those that enjoy creating things and sharing those abilities with others. All of the art supplies or craft materials go right back into the closet and are organized while doing so.

Another client has two huge dogs and they need a lot of special food, vitamins, equipment and of course, doggie clothing for when their make their "public appearances" she says.  She used what would have been a mud room closet for coats and gear to custom create her doggies' own closet.  She tells me they run to it and begin to bark when it is time to be out walking in the neighborhood. They sound really excited to have their very own closet. Who would have thought? Even our animals appreciate a little extra attention to details of their lives.

A very literary client with a huge love of libraries placed all of their very favorite, old, valuable First Editions her family has collected since her childhood and before.  She can go to it at any time and find her prized copy of one of her favorites and enjoy it.

The most unique closet was a Hindu client that leased a small apartment facing Lake Ray Hubbard in Rockwall, TX., about ten years ago. She invited me to her home to meditate with her early one Sunday morning and enjoy the sunrise's light glistening across the water. What beauty to behold.  Shimmering sunlight on water is my very favorite of all things, since I lived in Florida in 1966, and I was 19 years old.

When I arrived she invited me to walk into the hallway area of her apartment.  She opened the door to the linen closet and it had been totally transformed into an altar of her Holy Icons and objects, statues, pictures, paintings, and candles.  The entire closet was lined with aluminum tin foil (which I would not suggest to protect from fires) and everything else was placed on the shelves or Holy images were taped to the foil.

Talk about "Feeling the Vibrational Energy"...wow!  It was so strong that I got those "God Bumps" clients tell me about when something really intense happens. Others of us call them "The Chills" from our soul.  The energy was emanating  so strongly from her Prayer Closet I could see waves of it, much like heat from the hood of your car on a hot Texas day, blasting out from the candles and the Holy Objects.

This all has to do with not just the assembling of those objects, but with her own devout Holy Spirit Energy and all of the intentions, thoughts and prayers she was putting into her Altar Closet Sacred Space.  It was simply awesome and made you want to only sit and "receive" from the energy.

It was such an incredible experience that we did not get around to the balcony view of the "Shimmering Sunlight" on Lake Ray Hubbard until much later in the morning.  Somehow, it did not bother me a bit.  It had been a glorious experience to pray with my friend and enjoy the magnificent energy of the Holy Hindu Altar Closet.

Over the years as I have "Feng Shui'd" many Hindu clients' homes, each of them has a Hindu Altar Closet somewhere tucked away for their private worship and meditation ceremonies with candles, incense and Holy Icons.

The most striking of all belongs to a couple that devoted half of their master closet area to their Hindu Altar.

We walked through the bathroom and into the closet.  I had already removed my shoes at the door of the home as is the custom, but I was not prepared when I suddenly found myself standing face to face with a larger than life size standing image icon of Buddha with his hands outstretched. There were lit candles everywhere and the glow was phenomenal.  It was a completely overwhelming energy of "waves of love" coming at me and I felt instantly humbled and like I had overstepped my boundaries to enter such a sacred place. I felt very unworthy. 

As a Christian, God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit are the foundations of my belief.  As a seeker of spiritual wisdom for the understanding of it, to respect and appreciate others beliefs, I knew of Buddha's incredible teachings of love and sacrifice. Knowing it and feeling the "Prayer Energy" that was so alive in that huge closet were two entirely different things. The prayers of my clients and their children in their Hindu Altar Prayer Closet were what had created that empowered prayer energy, sincere, devoted, and dedicated energy to their Holy Deity.

They had left all of the candles glowing while we "house shopped for great Feng Shui" which I thought was an incredibly wise move to "entertain the Holy Spirit of God" as they know Him, while they were out looking for what they are praying to find.  Of course, the servants were there to keep a close eye on things, so there was not an issue with fire safety of any kind.  It would never be a good idea to leave glowing candles unattended anytime.

Here in this Hindu Temple inside a Master Bathroom Closet was a huge shrine to Buddha and many of the Holy gods and goddesses of the Hindu Culture.  The Holy Energy was extremely high at that moment. The candles had been glowing for hours, it was obvious.  Those "waves of love" were bringing tears to my eyes and instantly I began to question why would I respond in such a way to someone else's Altar I have no connection to?

The more you understand about your body, the better you will be able to care for it, and its needs, many of which are emotional.  The Chinese have known of these Chakras for thousands of years and their healing abilities. It will only help you to learn of them and have a basic understanding of what they do for you and your body.

I was having not only a flashback from a past lifetime as a Buddhist monk, it was the second time I had seen that vision.  The first time I was getting a Reiki healing treatment and had past life visions, and the images of the Buddhist monk had appeared, the freezing weather I felt and the shivering, and the climb up the mountain, into the cave and finally seeing the giant Buddha.  It all took a sequence like a movie would play out and then it faded to black background.

Her face as a Buddhist monk was very old and her mind, rather his mind, as she was appearing as a vision of a man, was saying to me "We are men this time. We prayed together here so long ago," and then it all disappeared.

Needless to say I did not announce my past life visions right there on the spot.  It would have been inappropriate of me.  I was there to offer Power Feng Shui suggestions for the approaching sale of their existing home, not to share an instantaneous experience that was triggered by the face of Buddha, the exact same face I had seen of Buddha in the visions I had before, there in their closet.  I had never seen that presentation of Buddha ever before or since.  I have not even been able to find it on the Internet yet.  I know I will, when the time is right.

Be prepared to receive the answer to the prayer request you send up.  Sometimes it is a huge surprise.  In the closet with the image of Buddha from my past lifetime as a monk I had felt just "waves of joy, happiness, love, contentment, peace, wholeness, wellness, and fulfillment" surrounding me.  It was simply unbelievable.  Yet, I KNOW in my soul that truly I was a part of the Buddhist culture at a very different time and through the connection of my friend Linda that I have known since 1981 in this lifetime, and our shared experience of being Buddhist monks I have clearly seen in two separate visions, Feng Shui came to me as a profession. 

When I began to write this article I never realized it would take a "past life flashback" turn.  I was only happy that when I sat down and prayed over what to say that I suddenly remembered the first Hindu client and our combined meditation sharing that lovely Sunday morning and the beauty of the shimmering water. I thought to myself, "What a great closet that was. Maybe someone will be inspired to create a Meditation Closet to have a "point of focus" for their prayers. Wouldn't that be fun for them and uplifting?"

Honoring the Sacred, Cosmic Breath of God by creating a place that welcomes that Ch'i for a fresh renewal, and rehabilitation of your life, your space and your circumstances.  Miracles happen. I don't know about you but I always have more magazines, newspapers and periodicals than I can ever have time to read. I get overwhelmed as you can see from the picture when I toss them in the reading area of my Sacred Space. Then they feel like an obligation to read when I really do enjoy them so much and the "quiet time alone" I enjoy spending just on me.

I bought this magazine rack for $5.00 from Unity of Richardson's Garage Sale and just loved the grapes and leaves for "blooming abundance" woven into the design.  As always to raise the vibration of the magazine storage icon to its highest level I chose Rust-oleum Gold Metallic for the highest Good Health and Prosperity Ch'i energy to show up. 

After spray painting my magazine storage icon Golden, I sorted and sifted through what I really wanted to read and what I knew could be tossed out.  It is not that the magazines themselves become prosperous, I am focusing my pure intentions to make the concepts and ideas that come to me while reading the content of the magazine that I wish to become "Golden" for me.  I want the creativity to "fire up" within my own life, as I am inspired by the thoughts of others, only in my own way, for the things I wish to empower with "Prosperity and Good Health.

You may be like me in the sense that if you can structure a reward or "payoff" of some sort, emotional, intellectual, gift, perk, whatever, treat of some sort which could even be a new office supply item or lunch out for fun, then the hard work of the task will fly by as you are on your way to that reward.  Not everyone is motivated by reward systems. That is great for them.  For myself, I find that it alleviates the boredom of the task itself if I "toy with the idea" in my mind first.  At the end I am thrilled it is complete and looks great and that I have spent the time.

"Well after you have done all of that work and you come back and look it over and see how great it looks and how organized it is, doesn't that make you 'hot'?"  Hot for perfectly organized drawers and closets was something I had never considered before.  Maybe she has a point...next time someone asks me if organized drawers make me hot I will have an answer. Feng Shui Hot! It definitely "heats up" the energy to have all of the drawers and closets uncluttered and easily accessible and viewed by those in the home or office.

Cure Your "Money Running Downhill" with flowers and plants

Property that has the home sitting atop a hill with the land "running downhill" is not good Feng Shui.  First there is no protection from the Wind Ch'i and ancient Feng Shui believes the house could "topple over" with a big gust of wind and be destroyed.  Very dangerous Feng Shui.

Secondly, and the most important consideration of the money, is that when the land surrounding you is all sliding off and running downhill, it is believed that the money will follow it.  Chinese would never live in a home with "Money Running Downhill" as they know it would be very bad luck for them and their money.

To "Cure" any symbolic "Money Running Downhill" energies the normal "Cure" is to place a reflective surface, a mirror ball, a mirror on the fence, a wind chime or bells, a whirly gig or any "motion" object, at the bottom of the incline of the hill to bring "Movement Energy" to bounce the Ch'i (Cosmic Breath of God/Life Force) energy right back up the hill to keep the money on the land.

In this setting the owners have planted the entire downhill slope with flowers to bloom and enjoy, drastically changing the "Money Running Downhill" energy. The addition of a rock wall and pillars adds the Earth Element's stability and a symbolic end to the land eroding away, as it runs downhill. With this "Cure" in place the "Money Running Downhill" is no longer an issue.  What a glorious way to enjoy it as well.

Bahamas Hotel Stained Glass Holy Cross in the Bar

Bahamas Hotel Stained Glass Holy Cross Panel actually acts as the focal point in the Bar of the hotel where we stayed when I was on vacation there.  It has a stylized golden (Prosperity/Good Health) Greek Key in the center of the two double bands of golden border circles. White brings Creativity, Blue attracts the energies of Wisdom/Knowledge/Spirituality, Green uplifts Family/Community and also represents the Wood Element for Growth in all of the areas the colors address the Ch'i energies.

The four dark green (Wood Element also), right angle borders that set off the white Cross create the illusion of another incomplete Cross.  This is a glorious display of color, design and Holy symbolism right here in the Bar at the Hotel in The Bahamas. My friend and I "toasted" the Cross and all it meant to us, as we were inspired by the sight of such a magnificent stained glass Cross on display for us to enjoy. Turtle Creek Still Called "Dallas' Gold Coast"
is a powerful Water Element

Recently the Dallas Morning News ran a story on Turtle Creek Still Called "Dallas' Gold Coast". Some of the priciest real estate in all of Dallas County resides along Turtle Creek as it slowly winds along, even with not the clearest water color in sight. Turtle Creek provides a powerful Water Element. The Water Element increases the "peace in our souls, a renewal of sorts, and also increases our money, renewing it. The sound of waterfalls, rains, thunderstorms, any running water sound we hear in our Sacred Space environment will work to "lift up our money and our souls."

Several years ago I had a friend that worked at the Dallas Morning News as a staff photographer. He offered to do pictures for my business cards and met me at the locations of my choice, one being Turtle Creek, and did some great "head shots" as they are called for my business card.

I have been going to Turtle Creek since 1968 to meditate and pray and enjoy the sounds of the creek as it flows along, years before I heard of Feng Shui. The water was clear then. It was great.

Now that I think back on it, the year I used the Water Element of Turtle Creek as a backdrop for my "head shot" my business increased dramatically. People "ooohhh'd and ahhh'd" my cards every time I gave one away. Even with dirty Turtle Creek water it was an excellent Water Element. I think it is time to go back to get a new "head shot" for my literature. I will be making a call for a photographer soon so I may make full use of the Turtle Creek Water Element for my business success and prosperity.

My photographer friend says that we need to shoot a bunch, dozens if necessary, and just hope for one perfect shot.  That is the way professional photographers do their work. Everyone is hoping for that one great shot.

By adding the Water Element you are symbolically adding "renewal of your Spirit and your money" to your business and professional life and also your personal life as well. Things will begin to change and improve dramatically...be prepared for good things to arrive.  When we expect them it is just so much easier.

Add a re-circulating pump, small water fountain by the front or the backdoor or both, of your home or office. It has the same powerful impact of "renewal of your Spirit and your money".  Expect results and things to "flow" much easier in your life. 

NOTE:  No Water Elements in the bedroom as it makes us "weepy" and "emotional" and we don't need that.
It also might keep you up all night visiting the bathroom. Not good for your rest.

Love Your Water and it will Love You Back

Someone gave me a copy of The Hidden Messages in Water.  Since it is such an important health essential and also the Feng Shui Water Element, I thought I should learn about water for myself.  What I learned was that water is alive when it is first drawn and has all of these clear sparkling living crystal structures in it when it is photographed and after it is allowed to sit on the counter, or in a container after it is opened, such as bottles of water sitting around our home or office, or left in our vehicles, the photographs show dark, black looking crystal structures where the value of the water to your own personal body is not good. In essence the value of the water dies as it is left to simply sit open and is unused.

Not only that but when negativity surrounds the water's environment, the black "dead" crystals appear again, then we drink it. Not good for us.

It simply will just blow your mind and your reasoning out of the water...bad joke...

One of the suggestions offered from experiments performed on the water told of writing "I love you, cheers, joy, peace, blessings, or other words of encouragement on the outside of the water bottle, writing or printing backwards, so the water is actually being loved and encouraged and "thanked" for its contribution to your body.

When the words are written backwards on one side of the bottle, you can see them written forward from looking through the other side of the bottle. What the experiment was about in this case was just "loving the water and appreciating it."

This may sound odd to you, but who among us does not appreciate being "thanked" for our part in helping lift others up or doing things for them? Water is a living entity. In the Bible God Jehovah, Creator God of the Hebrews and Christians and so many more, created the lst miracle of "Let there be Light."  The 2nd miracle was creating the water and then the firmament of the earth. Water was #2.  It is critical for survival of the Earth, the plant life, the animal populations and certainly humanity. Certainly it has living energy. It is LIFE.

Animal Spirit Visits... After They Have Passed On

A dozen years back I stayed with a friend when I lived in Dallas 7-8 months of each year. She had two cats that were her "babies" and one I particularly bonded to. His name was Friday. He had long Persian hair and a fabulous tail. I slept in the loft where my friend had redesigned the attic by having it ripped out and created a private sleeping area but also a long 1 foot wide ledge at the top of the bookcase wall that divided the living room and her office.

From the Pueblo replica ladder as you climb to the top to get to the Loft, the ledge extends all the way to the front wall of the home, and you can see both the living room and the office from that perch above it all. This is perfect for the "Cat Walk" she had in mind for both "Friday" and "Merlin" her other cat to enjoy, as they could sit on the ledge, sunning themselves from the sunshine pouring in through the skylights. They were warm even in the winter and loved it.  It was their private domain, custom designed just for them to enjoy.

Friday was about 14 when he got very sick and we had to rush him to the vet. He received a "blood transfusion" from what the Vet called "possum blood" and his vitality returned and he jumped up on the ladder and bounded up to the cat walk to "sun" himself.  He had the energy of a young cat again.  He recovered nicely. Of course, we prayed over his health, and rubbed water as it is Holy, made by God Creator, on him for extra "good healing blessing luck" from God.

A couple of years passed by. Friday was doing fine and one night he just became listless and would not move. We were extremely concerned and waited to see what happened.  In a final burst of energy he rallied and leapt up the steps of the ladder, positioned himself at the top, overlooking his domain and fell listless again. We had to do something quick.

This was the first time I had ever been an ambulance driver for a cat. It was after midnight and we found a yellow page ad for a Vet and clinic out on I-20 in Arlington that was open 24/7.  We flew down the freeway from home. When we got there they insisted on us going home and leaving him there.  There was nothing we could do. We went home.  In about an hour they called and said he had passed away.

As you might imagine from your own pet losses this was a very sad time at our house.  I had to leave early for work and did not see my friend until later in the day but I knew her pain would be great.

I stopped to buy her a bouquet of balloons and went to her favorite bakery, The Lovin' Oven on the Square in Lancaster, and got us all of the delights of a Tea Party, cookies, key lime pie, brownies, carrot cake and hoped we could celebrate Friday's life and send off his spirit with good wishes and lots of floating balloons.

We laughed and cried about Friday and went to the backyard and released our "Friday's Life Celebration Balloons". We both knew it would be a long time before we got over Friday's funny ways and the loss we felt.

About a week after this all happened, I was asleep up in the Loft about 3 A.M. and I awoke suddenly and sat up to see what was happening.  There in a complete vision of an apparition was Friday, walking along the ledge out towards the front door, shaking his tail gracefully as he went all the way to the end of his Cat Walk.  As he got there he turned around and looked at me, he walked towards me and then suddenly, like a cartoon that explodes into a million pixels and vanishes, he just vanished. It was wonderful. 

I was crying and so happy just to know that not only did he come to visit but he "strutted his stuff on his Cat Walk" like always. I was so comforted to know that his presence was still there and that he loved me enough to show up just for me.  I realized it had to do with my regularly feeding him and giving him treats, especially when my friend was out of town. I am not stupid. Friday loved to eat. I certainly understood that. So did he.

In my opinion, it is a merciful and compassionate Creator God that will allow "Spirit Visits" from our beloved pets after they have left us. He of all knows what that longing for a loved one we have lost feels like.  It is miraculous to me that we have an ability to receive from the Holy Spirit Realm, should we so desire.  Friday's appearance was a shocking surprise to me.  I was not his beloved owner, only a house-mate a good portion of the year that fed him.  He showed his love and appreciation by appearing to me that night. I was very thankful. It was such a personal experience and I was so very touched by it. What a glorious goodbye. I will never forget Friday.

Another Strange Cat Appearance...  Miss Goofy

When I began house-sitting for Chuck last April he had 4 cats and a fish that had to be moved to Memphis. Being a cat person growing up, and having several cats, I thought this would be great.  How hard could it be?

Three of the cats were male and not much for petting, only food bonding involved. I put it out, they showed up. Pretty simple.  Miss Goofy was the oldest and the "head cat" in this group.  She had a limp with her front paw and she was obviously miserable. She found it hard to move around and cried often as she walked. 

Quickly she trained me to serve her canned cat food 3 separate times each day, almost precisely at 8, 12, and 5. She would whine and cry if I did not give it up when she insisted.  She would walk around me and circle and cry out and rub against my leg. I knew that meant that Chuck would brush her hair and that was what she was expecting.  I tried to cooperate but did not have the same brushing ability she was accustomed to.  She continued to complain.

One day the men cats were headed out to the backyard patio area and she expressed a little interest.  She looked so miserable that I decided she needed to go and enjoy the sunshine for a little while.  She hobbled out and found herself a place facing the sun.  I noticed that as the sun moved across the sky, she would get up, reposition herself towards it, and sit for a while longer. That went on for three hours.  She seemed better.

The next day before I let her go out I got water and prayed a prayer over it, and brushed it on her fur and asked for help with her health. I brushed her and had a short talk with her about NOT dying on my shift and making the trip to Memphis to her new home that was awaiting her there. I reminded her how much Chuck loves her and how glad he will be for her to get there and be with him. She meowed in a different tone than before and walked right past me towards the patio, waiting for me to hurry up and open the door for her "sunshine break" as I called it.

Chuck came back in a few weeks to make the first "Cat transport" to Memphis and all went well.  I went to Indiana for 6 weeks and returned to Dallas.  On August 6th I fell and broke my shoulder and the next night I was sitting in the dark dealing with my pain and suddenly over by the front door I saw a complete vision of Miss Goofy walking towards me in the living room.  She came right towards me, sashaying back and forth, strutting her stuff, with no limp at all and then she turned and walked back to the front door.  As she got there she turned around and I honestly saw her "smile" at me, and then instantly she vanished like Friday so long ago, into a million pixels as the vision exploded like a cartoon, into thin air.

At that exact moment a Felix the Cat clock with a swinging tail and rolling eyes that moved side to side as it ticked along and kept time, crashed and fell off of the kitchen wall, almost 25 feet away from the vision of Miss Goofy.

   

I knew that could not be good.  The next day I heard from Chuck and Miss Goofy was very sick and passed on to her reward.  At the time I saw her I very innocently thought she just missed her house and she stopped by to say "Hello" to me.  When the cat clock fell I knew it was something else. 

I was still very honored that Miss Goofy would stop and say "Goodbye" to me on her way out of here. It was humbling and thrilling to me as well.  Yes, it was sad because I did bond to her and miss her complaining but it was great to matter enough to her to merit a visit.  All I can say is "God is good to me."  Thanks to Him and Miss Goofy, wherever she is.  She is missed.

Boo, Sally, and Sammie

Sammie and Boo were two little dogs who came into my life when I was young, newly married and full of hope. They stayed with me through some really bad times…a divorce, some miscarriages and some health problems. Perhaps my love for them was intensified because of all we went through together or perhaps they went through all the bad times with me because I loved them so intensely. In any event, they were my heart for almost 19 years.

Sammie was a Yorkie/Chihuahua mix, topping in at 8 pounds, and Boo was a miniature Dachshund/Manchester Terrier mix of 10 lbs. Sammie was the leader. She was smart and funny and definitely The Boss. Boo was sweet and adorable, but not a Mensa candidate! But she didn't need to be. Sammie took care of Boo, told me when Boo needed to go outside to potty, instigated mischief and got Boo to join her and was in all ways "the older sister."  

Boo left on December 6, 1993, at the age of 18. Well, that isn't completely true. She left her body, but she didn't completely leave for another six months. Several times I heard or felt her presence. One night I was in bed, reading, unable to sleep, when I heard Boo going under the bed. She was so short, she could do this easily, but, as she progressed, she would lift her head periodically so each trip was made with two or three "thunks." That night, I heard two of her distinctive "thunks." I got out of bed and looked, but was unable to see her. Another time under the same circumstances, I heard her get up and shake out her ears, something she always did first thing when she woke.

On July 30, 1994, I was in New York at a conference when Boo took Sammie with her to the other side. My husband (their step-father) called that morning to tell me Sammie was sick, but I was unable to get home before she left. I was heart-broken and felt intense guilt that I had not been there with her. It was a couple of days later that my husband, someone who doesn't believe anything exists if he can't feel, touch and see it, told me what had happened that day.

Sammie had become ill in the night, and he was up with her at 3:00 a.m., sitting on the sofa, trying to comfort her. Suddenly she became still and in the quiet darkness he heard Boo's distinctive steps clicking across the vinyl of the kitchen floor. He and Sammie sat very still, listening. The sounds of the steps stopped when they reached the carpeted dining room floor, and Boo barked once in her equally distinctive bark.

Sammie went into a coma and never came out it. She was gone before that day was over, as was Boo. I never heard or felt any further evidence of the presence of either of them. After all the years of Sammie taking care of Boo, Boo waited for her to make the final journey. My fervent wish for my own departure is that the two of them will be there to guide me across.

Sammie and Boo were my first God-Dogs... I did not know that until a visit to their house and their mom Sally, my best friend, told me that I was their only "official Dog Godmother."  She went on to explain that should she die (we were in our mid-twenties at the time) that it would be my job to "raise" them.  These dogs ran the place and the whole show at Sally's so I knew they would make me their "pushover" so I simply added Sally's extended good health to my prayer list. That was the easy way out for me.

Not long after I became the "official Doggie Godmother" we stopped one night and bought some Long John Silver's fish.  It was a brand new franchise and I loved the taste of it, so Sally and I decided to bring it to her home while we visited that evening, and have a delicious fish dinner.  As twenty-somethings often do, we were in the bedroom, sitting in front of the TV for our dining experience.

I did not have any ketchup so I sat my food on the floor, in front of my chair and went off to the refrigerator to find the ketchup.  When I came back both Sammie and Boo were licking their chops, having just finished my fish dinner.  I was only gone for two minutes time.

We were half an hour from Long John's so there was no replacement dinner for me.  I began to whine about how the dogs had eaten my dinner and Sally immediately said "Well you left it on the floor which is their dining table so they obviously thought it was for them.  It is your own fault."  I learned my lesson.  Never set your food on the dog's dining table ever again.

Over the years I kept praying for Sally's good health and the long life of the dogs. They gave her so very much joy in life.  At the time of Sammie's illness and Sally being out of town, her husband, a complete non-believer in spirit anything was, as God would have it, there for Sammie.  He loved both dogs and missed Boo. 

I will never forget talking to Sally upon her return about the oddity of what had happened.  When her husband had called her to tell her of Sammie leaving he said, "Boo came and got Sammie."

He had heard an unexplained bark from Boo, already in Heaven, heard her toe nails clicking on the kitchen floor and he knew she had come for her "sister."  It happened in this way I believe to comfort both him and Sally, but also to show him that unexplained things do happen in a very phenomenal sense, when we love so much and suffer loss and need to be comforted.

I remember thinking if he had been out of town and this had happened to Sally, he would never have believed it.  Not because she would lie, that would never be the case, but because with his logical and reasoning mind, it would be impossible for him to believe it happened in the manner in which it did.

As God would have it, not only did he hear the bark and the clicking toe nails, he "KNEW"  Boo had come for her sister Sammie.  He received the comfort of that and was able to share it with Sally and all of us learned about the supernatural power of unconditional love.  Who would have ever thought it would matter as much to God as it did to Sammie's and Boo's loving human parents? Well it certainly did.  What a comforting departure, to go with your own doggie loved one, your sister, to your reward.  I know Sammie was comforted by Boo's waiting for her to make the trip, so they could go together.

That was my first supernatural exposure to an Animal Visitation from the Spirit Realm. Even though I was not there, I will never forget hearing about the way it happened to my friend and her love.  I am glad I was the doggie "Godmother" to such a lovely pair of sisters, in life, and in spirit.  It taught me a bunch. God bless Sammie and Boo...He already has, and their parents and their "doggie Godmother," by just knowing them in life and in their departure, in the unique and sensitive way He allowed for it to happen.  God obviously is a pet lover.  He did make them first, before humans.  Likely because they brought Him joy as well. Animals DO love unconditionally. What a "God thing" it is.

Think you sometimes "see" your past pet or dream of them?  You are not flipping out with grief. Often clients report stories to me just like these two I have experienced. When we live a life of honoring ourselves, our loved ones, our animals and others, strange and mysterious, and often supernatural things happen to us that we could not possibly foresee.  Do not think that is strange? Think of it as Creator God allowing you a little visitation time with another one of your loved ones.  The ones that love us "unconditionally" are the ones we often love the most, and miss terribly.

If you have never received a visit and it matters to you, pray for God to allow you a dream or a vision to "reflect on that love" for a moment's time.  If it matters to you, it matters to Him. Live in faith, walk in faith, and expect your faith to bring your miracles to you... He does all kinds of them for us, depending on what we need. You will see. "Ask and you shall receive, seek and you shall find."  Nothing is impossible for Creator God.

I combined both images and redesigned the image to be what I hoped would win. I built it to be a 24" X 30" framed stained glass panel and it went off to the State Fair of Texas for the competition. The weeks of waiting paid off with a "Best of Show" Blue Ribbon in the "Original/Professionals" category of stained glass.  The combination of the mystery, the intrigue, the Feminine sexiness, and the Oriental exotic theme had won my Blue Ribbon for me.

I had included my first State Fair ribbon winner of 4th place with an elegant Miss Piggy and her frog squeeze Kermit dressed in wedding regalia to poke fun at the Muppet Movie that year. I am a huge Miss Piggy fan and knew I would likely be one of the few with a stained glass Miss Piggy in competition.
