This month we have a variety of fun, fascinating and interesting Power Feng Shui topics that all lift up the Ch'i, the Cosmic Breath of God. I recently visited the fabulous John Hancock Building in Chicago and hit the 94th floor's breathtaking view of the incredible Lake Michigan and its scenic shoreline. Even the architectural bird's eye view of the skyline of Chicago and its old and new world charm is beyond belief. I am a huge fan of aerial views and the allure they hold of "looking down at life" from God's perspective, one of my favorite things.

While in Chicago I went out to the suburb of Olympia Fields to visit my favorite healer's office, the International Compassion Ministry of Father Peter Mary Rookey. I adore the peace of Holy Places and brought back a clip of all of the serenity the tiny chapel has to offer.

My love's mother Ruth, 92, fell and broke her hip so while visiting her in Clarian Arnett Hospital there was a fun, artsy Pumpkin Decorating Contest by all of the different departments, with each creating a special pumpkin piece that depicted the interests of that particular department. When she moved to the Monticello Assisted Living Center they displayed a great Bird Cage filled with tiny birds that brings so much joy to the residents and visitors.

I married a wonderful couple, Rachel & Damon at the perfect Power Feng Shui Wedding Energy location, the Alexander Mansion in Garland. I have a clip of the delightful setting for Wedding Feng Shui to share with you.

94th Floor View of Chicago & Lake Michigan from the John Hancock Observation Deck

The fabulous John Hancock Building in Chicago is a local hit with all of the sights to see in Chicago, it is one of the most dramatic ones. With the 94th floor's breathtaking view of the incredible Lake Michigan and its scenic shoreline, and my favorite thing of all, seeing the edge of the world as it curves out of sight, it offers an architectural bird's eye view of the skyline of Chicago and its old and new world charm is beyond belief. I am a huge fan of aerial views and the allure they hold of "looking down at life" from God's perspective, another one of my favorite things, is just too good to pass up.

Holy Chapel @ Father Rookey's International Compassion Ministry in Olympia Fields, Illinois

My favorite Healer in my entire life that is true, honest, sincere and abundantly gifted with God's own Holy Spirit Gifts of healing is Father Peter Mary Rookey. He heads the International Compassion Ministry which offices in Olympia Fields, Illinois just outside Chicago. He can be found on the web at http://www.smcenter.org/frrookey_miracle.htm and there is a link at the bottom of the page to leave prayer requests you may have. They do NOT contact you for donations or sell your email address. He is the same healer that healed me years ago from a hip injury that gave me chronic pain for 5 years time and then on other occasions I took my mother-in-law with her cancer and a death sentence that was immediate and she got a 3 l/2 year extension from his healing touch and prayer with her. My sister-in-law had breast cancer at that time and is still alive 14 + years later, surviving 4 bouts of cancer and still living her life daily in a normal way. There is no one like Father Peter Mary Rookey. Through Father Rookey's healing anointing and God sharing it with me through a client, my family has been bless eternally by this association.

I visited in July and he had just left for Ireland so I was able to pray in the Prayer Chapel and film this clip while I was there of all of the Holy Icons there where he does healings when he is in town. They sell candles, and Holy objects, rosaries, crosses, Father Rookey's books and tapes and much more. Truly the blessing of healing power is available through his anointing of God and he daily answers phone calls and prays with those that make a phone appointment. I am living proof and my family as well of God's anointing of Divine Healing Power in the ministry of Father Peter Mary Rookey.

May God bless him with perfect health and total clarity until the moment he joins God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit in Heaven, and extended life and joy and many trips to visit his friends globally and minister to those with such huge needs. I thank God daily for him and my personal healing connection that God lead me to so long ago at St. Boniface's Catholic Church in Lafayette, Indiana. I am so thankful my client shared her knowledge of him with me then and that I benefit to this day from that referral of healing from her. I bless her daily as well. It was a Godsend to me. Thank you God, Thank you Jesus, and thank you Father Rookey for all of the Divine Healing I have been blest to receive. I appreciate it always.

Nursing Home Includes Large Bird Cage filled with Birds for Resident's Enjoyment

Recently my love's mother Ruth, 91, fell and broke her hip. When she was moved to the Monticello Assisted Living & Healthcare facility in Monticello, Indiana and I visited the first time I was delighted to find that they had a wonderful bird cage filled with lively little birds of all kinds for the fun, interest and amusement of not only their residents but also for those visiting. Everyone just adores those little birds and they furnish hours of pleasure for those that spend time watching their antics. This is such a stimulating activity for those confined there or those there briefly for physical therapy. It keeps clients fascinated for lengths of time while they are watching all of the playing and chasing of the birds as they enjoy their lives on display for all to see.

This is an excellent idea for everyone to enjoy. It is a huge blessing of joy for all to appreciate. I am glad Ruth is in a wonderful, safe, well cared for facility and that she can enjoy those birds everyday as she passes them on her way to the dining room. Everyone is drawn to the excitement of the bird's remarkable glassed in cage in prime view. Any location that cares for the elderly would only benefit from having a bird cage filled with chirping, singing little birds.

Use Dripping Grapes to Create Abundance in the Kitchen

If you want to create instant Abundance in your kitchen buy a garland of dripping grapes at Hobby Lobby or wherever you find silk artificial flowers. Using dripping grapes means that your life will be "Dripping with Abundance". Silks create the representation of the real thing and offer the prosperity blessing anywhere they are displayed.

My good friend & prayer partner Vickie in Waxahachie, Texas has redone her kitchen and dining room to highlight the abundance of grapes. She has used a wallpaper border in addition to the archway display that also greets you when you enter the kitchen door. I have noticed that her life and Mike's, her husband, the lives of her children and grandchildren continue to be blest with abundance. Of course our prayers are being answered but it is always good to display "Dripping Abundance of Grapes" somewhere in your home to prompt the Ch'i, Cosmic Breath of God, energy to activate.

The Groom's cake displayed chocolate covered dipped Tuxedo Strawberries that were just wonderful fare.

I was so appreciative to be invited to perform the Marriage Ceremony for the lovely couple and be a part of their brand new beginning. Recycle Grandmother's Quilts:
Momo's Memories 1 & 2

These are quilts I've made in honor of my grandmother, Audencia Lopez. I have had a bag full of aprons, table runners and doilies that were hers for quite a few years. I recently learned how to sew and came up with the idea that I could probably preserve these by making them into a quilt.

Putting them together brought back many memories of her cooking and her wisdom. They quilts are respectively named Momo's Memories 1 & 2.

St. Anthony Prayer brought back Lost Tiger's Eye Bracelet

Years ago I began to wear Tiger's Eye to calm me of anger from being on the road and repeatedly almost being hit or killed by others that were so selfish in their driving habits. All it did was leave me feeling outraged, with controlled hysteria over my near sudden destruction. I got really sick of feeling like that. I cannot do anything about the others, only help myself by watching constantly what is happening around me while driving, and wearing Tiger's Eye stones or carrying them in my pocket. I found it helped me tremendously to remain calm, no matter what the circumstances, so I have continued to carry one & have one on my desk in my office.

One Tuesday I realized that my Tiger's Eye bracelet had vanished. I retraced all of my steps that day & did not find it. Because it had Wayne's blessing of the meditative prayers he uses while he creates jewelry and it had been a gift to me from him I really wanted to find it. It meant a lot to me.

Years ago my Catholic clients had told me about praying to St. Anthony for lost articles and how they would just appear, often in the same location they had looked for them many times. I thought about St. Anthony's prayer and decided to look it up online and say it three times. Using the three fold blessing of the Trinity, The Father, Son & Holy Spirit by saying prayers three times strengthen it & honors the Trinity of Holy beings. It is more likely to work. I thought, it can't hurt to try it. I had not used it in a long time and it had always worked before.

I said my St. Anthony prayer on Tuesday and decided to just wait and see what happened. On Friday, the third day, again that three fold blessing symbolism, it appeared on the sidewalk beside where I park my Jeep in front of the Church. I drove up and there it was as you see it in the above picture, just waiting for me to find it. I was thrilled it came back to me. Of course I immediately thanked God, Jesus and St. Anthony for bringing it back to me.

If you lose something St. Anthony is the one to pray to. I have included a simple prayer that gets the job done. Good luck with finding your lost articles, especially if they have a blessing on them that mean a lot to you. St. Anthony will help if you only ask him to.

St. Anthony, perfect imitator of Jesus, who received from God the special power of restoring lost things, grant that I may find (name your lost item) which has been lost. At least restore to me peace and tranquility of mind, the loss of which has afflicted me even more than my material loss. To this favor, I ask another of you: that I may always remain in possession of the true good that is God. Let me rather lose all things than lose God, my supreme good. Let me never suffer the loss of my greatest treasure, eternal life with God. Amen.

Thoughts of Thomas: About Elements

Elements are made up of layers of minions just as the angels and demons, each one supports the whole. The best way I can explain the place of Elements in the grand scheme of things, is to use the analogy of a High School Football Game.

Angels and Demons are the opposing players, each one is trying to defeat the player in front of him and the team as a whole.

The Elements are like the Bands, they want their side to win. But are more concerned about their performance on the field than who wins.

Some Elements are good, some are bad (not evil) and most are somewhere in the middle. All the above seem to want our attention, some want our affection and love while others seek control and dominance. It's up to you which team fits into each category.

That leaves us with the Band, the Band doesn't fit totally into either love or dominance.

It has been my experience that what the Elements, like the Band, wants more than anything, is the acceptance of the crowd. You can love them or fear them, it doesn't matter as long as you accept them.

They don't want your soul or first born, (most of the time) or your undying love and devotion, they only want acceptance.

All that you need to draw the Elements is to show the proper respect. Remember respect and reverence are two different things.

You accomplish this by putting their sign in the proper direction and using the proper colors according to your system. Above all you must take care of your sacred place be it an altar, flower bed, circle or a small place in your closet. In the Art size doesn't matter, not like other endeavors.

In the pursuit of The Art you only need to do the best you can. We all can't have a Henge in your back yard. The act of keeping your sacred place clean and orderly is a sign of respect.

We should pause a moment and discuss all the systems that exist. Almost every culture has its on system. They all recognize the four directions but the colors and apparitions will be different. So it's up to you to pick the system that fits you.

We should address the appearance of the apparition. These creatures are of the Nether World. To bring one to physical form is not an easy thing and is very rare. Their appearances are determined by your expectations. If you think they are a Fairy they appear as a Fairy.

These entities have been here since creation. What we perceive them to be is only a figment of our imagination, based on folklore. Their real identity is unknown. They are creatures that become whatever that culture want them to be. I find it highly improbable Neolithic man believed in Fairies.

Most of the time you only feel their presence. Each Element has a very distinctive presence. Your Element will always speak more forcefully to you than the others but they all give you something.

In my system East is a blue circle, South is a red triangle, West a silver crescent and North a yellow square. The colors I use to attract them are different except for south, East is yellow, South is red, West is blue and North is green.

What system you use is up to you. If the system speaks to you it will work for you. The extent that it works is dependent on how much you believe in it.

To become a practitioner of The Art you must master two things: the belief in your system and more importantly the belief in yourself. You can change your system but you can't change who you are. If you don't believe totally in yourself you are following a fool's dream. If you think this is a game to amuse your friends, you are more than a fool, you are dangerous to yourself and your companions.

You don't practice The Art, you live it, it becomes a part of you. Do you practice your religion only on your Holy day to look good at your place of worship , or do you live it everyday? The Art is no different.

St. Elizabeth's Chapel Glorious Altar Stained Glass

This elegant and Holy Chapel is a complete Church here at St. Elizabeth's Hospital that has Sunday morning services and a 24 hour Adoration going on daily, 365 days each year where church members agree to offer an hour of prayer, round the clock to keep a Prayer Vigil to constantly entertain the Holy Spirit Blessing of God Himself in prayer for the hospital's clients, their families, the staff, the community of Lafayette, Indiana, and of course all of the members of the Church, their families, and loved ones and all other needs in the hearts and minds of those praying their specific hour of prayer.

I often go here to pray for special needs of my loved ones and clients. One can go to visit the Chapel anytime throughout the day and after hours stop by the Security Office and tell them you are going to the Chapel to pray and they will wave you through. It is such a lovely, blessed place to pray where there is a wonderful spirit of Holiness in which to meditate.

July 5th Celebration @ Joe's Crab Shack in Indianapolis, Indiana

Every trip to Indiana I make it a point to take my love to my favorite coconut shrimp location to visit Joe's Crab Shack off 86th St. not far East of 86th @ Keystone. The food is fabulous, the setting fun, situated on the waterfront of Clear Lake and the sunset is always my favorite time to be there. Watching the boats sail by is very relaxing and almost as good, but not quite as the Gulf of Mexico along the West Coast of sunny, south Florida's view which is my ultimate favorite for waterside views.

Each day the staff dances and patrons join in. This day there was a precious 2 year old with his Dad dancing right along with the staff, having fun and joy while the rest of us sang along. There is a playground out front, with inside access for families to enjoy a little kiddo entertainment while they are having their Joe's Crab Shack delicious meal.

All Joe's maintain the same franchise food high qualities but the waterside setting is my favorite. Might as well enjoy the best of all things while you dine is my belief. Visit Joe's and enjoy it all in Indianapolis. The coconut shrimp and its fantastic Plum Sauce is definitely worth the visit. See you there!

My Louisiana Family's Great Woodsy Backyard Porch Setting

While visiting my family in scenic Alexandria, Louisiana for a get-a-way weekend in their lovely woods edge setting. I love big back porches and they have the best and most peaceful view to just sit and love nature and the joy of God's beauty on tap all around I have ever seen. Life moves slowly in Louisiana, much different from Dallas' LBJ Freeway with 8 lanes headed in one direction, with the flow of traffic pressing you to drive 80 mph in the high traffic times. It is a huge joy just to sit and relax there each time I visit.

This family was born and raised in Texas and brought their young sons to Louisiana for a job change 30 years ago and found this home and its lovely woodsy backyard. They do visit Texas often and still miss it bunches and their family there and decided to add Texas nostalgia touches to the back porch where they hang out so often. It is a pleasant way to enjoy Texas memories and kick back.

Add your own "home town or home state location nostalgia" to your outdoor setting in the backyard and patio and cookout area of your home. While you enjoy the great outdoors it is an excellent way to have those "down home moments" to enjoy with your family. Bring some of your "Back Home Memories" art outside and make it new again for fresh memories for your future. It helps not to miss "Back Home" quite so much.

Your joy lies within your own personal ability to assemble the Power Feng Shui memory concepts from the existing art and memorabilia nostalgia you already possess. It costs nothing to "re fire" those things in a new location right there on the land you have chosen for your Sacred Space. I say Go For It! Happy Power Feng Shui.
