Grand Re-Opening of my Unity of Richardson, Texas Church on April 2nd....GOOD FRIDAY....
How very appropriate...
The most important thing that happened on April 2nd, Good Friday was the Re-Opening of my fabulous Church Unity of Richardson, Texas @ 300 N. Coit, Suite 179 at the Promenade Center between Belt Line Road & Arapaho Road. Our church was destroyed by fire on Monday morning about 5 a.m. on November 16th.
Unity of Richardson is also home to The Spiritual Fitness Center, a leading Metaphysical Center in the Dallas Metroplex for lectures, classes, New Moon Psychic Fairs for fabulous readings, (Psychic, Tarot, Past Life, Animal Totem, Numberology and lots of other types), vendors, and healers, Reiki Masters, Massage Therapists, and so much more. Fortunately the loss was property damage...not human life, for which we are extremely thankful. It happened in the early morning hours, beginning with an unattended candle without a protective container of metal or glass, sitting on an altar table, that had been left after service on Sunday. If I can get any point across to you of how important it is to NOT leave candles unattended, it may prevent you from losing your home, office, or church OR WORSE, the tragedy of losing human lives. We were so lucky God was on the job and it did not spread. The a/c just kept blowing as it heated up, because the thermostat thought it was hot and kept doing its job and prevented the alarm system from calling the Fire Dept. Thank God for the Richardson Fire Dept. and the exceptional job they did in putting it out, once they got the call. We cannot thank them enough. May God bless all Fire Departments everywhere but especially the Richardson Fire Dept.. We love and appreciate them so much.
NOTE: After the fire Cliff Zellman, our web guy was looking at some of the pictures of the fire damage and just above the altar that caught fire and burned the sanctuary, in the rafters was a set of hands opened, holding an image of Jesus in the hands. Cliff was the only one that had seen that before and shared it with us all. Not a single other person saw this. Our Phoenix Rising From the Ashes is symbolic of Unity of Richardson coming back stronger than ever this time...Amen to that...
Unity of Richardson has RISEN FROM THE ASHES. YES!!! Artist Chuck Timmerman took a smoked dove sculpture & the oil painting canvas we had as our Altar Piece & scrubbed up the Dove & repainted the backdrop to show the Phoenix of our Dove & Church literally "rising from the ashes." He actually used some of the burnt ashes mixed with the oil paints to create the Flames and Ashes at the bottom of this wonderful display. It serves to remind us we also will rise from the ashes...Come see us for Church at 11 a.m. Sundays or The New Moon Fair on May 14th. Thank you Chuck Timmerman for reminding us we shall also rise....God bless you all, always.
Of course it is a perfectly Power Feng Shui'd Sacred Space that has been totally restored by the efforts of Crocker & Reynolds Construction, LP http://www.crocker-reynolds.com/ that did the original interiors of the Sanctuary and offices, the Chapel, kitchen, nursery, and classrooms almost exactly one year ago to the day. We LOVE these guys. They did an incredible job, led by Lynn Reynolds, Senior Project Superintendent. Superior building expertise and an incredible cleanup crew, plus the help of Service Pro and Colonial Furniture Services to do the restoration to save all they could of what we had before brought us back in record time once the permits and all of the details were worked out to begin this huge project. Of course we cannot leave out Hartford Insurance that did an incredible job to co-ordinate all of the restoration.
Oh, we missed our Church so much but the Management of the Promenade Center was very generous to share their Conference Room in the Tower Building for our Sunday Services so we did not have to rent additional space. We thank Promenade for helping us out during this difficult time. The Conference Room was a luxury for us, as opposed to Church vs. no Church, it was great BUT it was NOT my home Church.
After I got back from my Oct./Nov. annual work in Indiana, I found myself just stopping by the burned out Church at all hours, simply to stand inside of it and pray for speedy recovery, like all of the members of Unity of Richardson/Spiritual Fitness Center, because I missed it so very much. I left for Indiana in late September before the fire so I had not been there for service during that time up to the fire, so it seemed like forever until April's Good Friday Re-Opening.
I thought I would miss my office but it was the Church I missed with all my heart. I have free-lanced my Spirit counseling work since 1991 and my Power Feng Shui consultations since 1995 via the telephone, The Dallas Psychic Fair's 1st Sunday at Holiday Inn Select on LBJ Freeway & Josey Lane for 10 years and the strongest of all...clients word of mouth referrals so my work went on. The Church feeds my soul on Sunday mornings at 11 a.m., helping me navigate my next week, until I can get back there to worship again the next week. I have always looked at Church as a Spiritual Filling Station, much like filling up my car's gas tank so I can continue on down life's road. I am so glad to be back.

I have never heard the Word of God put in such simple yet eloquent terms you can understand and relate to in your own life. It is simply awesome! Please treat yourself one Sunday and stop by and "Fill Up Your Soul" in a way you have never experienced. You will be very glad you did.
I asked Sunnie how long I had been coming to Unity and she quickly reminded me it has been 5 years....WOW! Time just flew...I have enjoyed being "fed with the Holy Word of God" so much it certainly does not seem like 5 years time. One service and you will understand exactly what I am talking about.

Alex's New Restored Office at Unity of Richardson...Promenade Shopping Center
My office at this location got the least bit of damage during the entire fire because the door was closed. Because the door was locked the Firemen had to break it down but there was only very light smoke damage and nothing lost. I was extremely thankful. We were all so lucky through this fire.
My desk is located in the very center of the room which is the Prosperity/Good Health area. In the far right hand corner is my Power Feng Shui Power Key with all the colors and details of Feng Shui on a Golden (Prosperity/Good Health) easel. When the doorway of your room on the entry wall is in the extreme side, either right of left, it activates the "Diagonal Sight Line" meaning you automatically look to see how far the room goes when you enter through the doorway. My door is far left, entering in the Wisdom/Knowledge/Spirituality area and the "Diagonal Sight Line" applies here. It means the opposite corner from the doorway contains BOTH the Empowerment/Wealth area AND the Love/Relationship area together. I want good luck with all aspects of those energies so my Power Key is located there.

I have placed a huge Money Icon in the Career/Self/Destiny area to draw big time money to my own career. There is one chair, symbolic for a place for myself to be "seated" in my Career and it is Orange, a Fire Element color to "Fire Up" my Career/Self/Destiny.
The cut corner construction that cuts off the full Compassion area has been "cured" by adding a mirror to reflect that extra energy all around the office to "Lift the Ch'i (Cosmic breath of God). It is reflecting even bigger money, $100. giant money icon, in essence, doubling that money's influence by using the mirror.
A table dripping with Purple (Empowerment/Wealth) Wisteria, a favorite picture of myself and my son, my Native American Turtle rattle, and two Native American Rain Maker rattles, several gifts from clients and a Black (Career/Self/Destiny) candle holder with 3 candles representing the 3 Fold Blessing of Father, Son, & Holy Spirit energy or in China it means Heaven, Earth, and Mankind. The candles are symbolic as since the big fire we are not lighting any candles in the building. We are using battery operated Tea Lights to be safe.
I have added a Water Misting Fountain sharing both Compassion & Career areas as the Water Element to "Fire Up" renewal of both areas that I turn on when I am in the office. Thoughts of Thomas: Was that a Sign
How many times have you seen something and thought, “that was weird” or asked someone “did you see that”. It has happened to all of us and some of them may have been a Sign.
I today's world we no longer pay attention to the natural world and out of place things (if we can even recognize them) are given only a moment's thought.
The beginning of the end of spirituality started in the Sixty's' as science and humanism started to take the place in more people's life's, that was previously filed by religion. It's an easier path to believe in nothing, as opposed to having to live up to something.
I realize that in the sixty's drug cultures they thought they were having spiritual experiences as the fried their brains on LSD. But there is a big difference in being out of your mind and opening your mind. To embrace all the possibilities that is out there waiting to be rediscovered, that has been lost to us by the passing of time and religious purification.
After we went to the moon (yes we really did go) I remember people saying “there is no God, we went to heaven and God wasn't there” now statements like that should make you wonder about the sanity of the Baby Boomer generation. That are now running most of the world, with what few neurons that are still connected in their brains after the sixty's drug culture.
I am a member of that generation and have always said “if the world survives my generation there maybe some hope for mankind”. If you don't believe me look at the governments of the world, all ran by old men and women in their sixties and seventies looking for Heaven on earth. That's because they lost all their spirituality, they believe they have no place to go when they die, and their running out of time.
Thank you, for allowing me to express my disdain of my generation, a generation that I believe has separated so many people from their God and spirituality it's self. What greater crime is there than stealing the souls of generations?
I don't feel much different about organized religion, because anytime one can control the many most of the time no good comes from it. Remember the Catholic Church of the dark ages and the Protestant Church of the sixteenth century. They were ran be men to control the masses not to teach the word of God, and their word was law, we can never let that happen again, just as we can't let a secular group dominate us. We must be free to walk whatever path we chose.
Now back to the subject; I have told you before I do tend to wonder off at times, this time I may have galloped a bit but I'm back now. But it’s really not my fault, if you hadn't brought up religious and spiritual freedom and how it's been under attack for the last forty years. I wouldn't have lost my cool and ran my head like I did. With your permission I will continue on with our discussion about Signs.
A sign is rarely a supernatural experience; like an angle or whatever appearing with flaming sword to block your way, from certain doom.
That would be nice but my advice is you shouldn't expect it. Those types of occurrences have been documented in the Bible and other ancient scrip but they only occur every five hundred to a thousand years, and they generally pertain to the saving of a nation. So unless you're with CIA I would be looking for the more subtle approach.
A sign is normally a natural occurrence in an unnatural setting. I live in north Texas to see Robins in winter or spring is normal, but to see one in July is odd. That in itself doesn't make it a sign, just very unusual.
Unusual things like this happen all the time, so all odd things or not necessarily a Sign for you, though it could be for someone else, and you are just a witness. Or it's a robin that likes one hundred degree weather. I guess that could happen, maybe, though it's not likely.
A Sign is when you see something natural in an unnatural setting that touches you on some level. The harder the touch the more important the message, your power will tell you what to do. Don't let logic rule you, do what the power says. It doesn't have to make sense, and most of the time it doesn't and the message is for you and you alone. You may save or help others by saving or helping yourself but to the power that means nothing. The message was sent to you.
Let me tell you of a Sign that was sent to me a day or two after Christmas two years ago. I needed some supplies and all the metaphysical shops I usually visited had closed shop. But a friend had told me of another one that had just opened on the south side of Dallas. She gave me general directions for she had never been there herself.
Being familiar with that part of town. I felt confident I would have no problem finding it. So my wife and I set off to find the shop, it started off well but went downhill quickly. We couldn't find the shop in the area she told me, so we widened our search, but found nothing.
The longer we searched the more questionable it became as to where we should look next. I wanted to go back over the area we had already looked and she wanted to widen the search. She never called me an A--H---she's a lady but after forty eight years together you know what they are thinking'
As we were driving down a side street with homes on both sides and cars parallel parked randomly on either side of the street. A young boy caught my eye as he ran from a parked car to the house the car was parked in front of, and then a balloon came from under the car and floated across the road. It floated about four feet high and disappeared on the other side of the street. My first thought was it's a left over balloon from a Christmas party the boy was after, but the balloon was black. It gave me a sick feeling; every part of me was telling me something wasn't right.
The more we drove around the area the stronger the feeling, so I told my wife to go home now, we have to leave. She looked at me a second, then turned toward home.
After we were on the interstate headed home she asked me what was wrong. I told her what I had seen and how it made me feel. That's when she told me she didn't see any of what I saw and she was driving.
We have been together most of our lives and she is a good Christian lady, but when I say something with passion that makes little or no since she never asks why, she follows my directions. She knows I would never do anything to hurt her, she trusts me to take care of the thing she knows are there but would prefer not to deal with.
I still don't know what was wrong, whether the danger was at the shop, or on the way to the shop. I can tell you the whole area felt dangerous to me; I didn't feel normal until we were on the interstate headed home. The further away we were the better I felt, and I haven't been back.
Not all signs are warnings of bad things coming your way; some of mine lead me to a greater understanding of the power. Sometimes they lead me to things I wouldn't have found on my own.
If you pay attention to what you see and what you feel the power will not fail you, you don't have to be a practitioner of the Art. If something unusual causes you more than a passing thought don't dismiss it, follow your gut feelings. Guts are smarter than their given credit

I thank you for coming to share Power Feng Shui and learn many new and fun things that will just "blow you away" when you use them in your own Sacred Space and Office and see your very own results. Power Feng Shui is like getting a surprise that gives us joy...it is simply fascinating to me to watch how the Cosmic Breath of Ch'i from Creator God will bring wonderful results to us if we just show a little harmonic balance, clear our mind, focus on our heart's desire intentions and BOOM, He sends us back that surprise. Could be a love, a job, a car, a holiday, or even "an afternoon OFF" where just loved yourself, taking that moment to appreciate the world around you, and the one you create for yourself.
I encourage you to love yourself and allow yourself to love what you have placed around you or banish what won't work for you any longer. Reinvent yourself and use your connection to the God of your soul to love you as you begin to love yourself.
Don't worry about the others around you. Love has a 'trickle down' effect...it goes out in all directions and everyone else will directly benefit as you love yourself.
I love that Bible verse that says "Love One Another As You Love Yourself." I am taking it from the top. It was Jesus said the Greatest Commandment.
Jesus was asked a question, "Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?" Matthew 22:36 Jesus replied, " 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.' This is the first and greatest commandment. 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments" Matthew 22:37-40.
It's all in your hands....May you always have God with you and your Good Luck surround you as you love and bless yourself first...then the others.
