Use an aspirin in the water and change the water at least every other day and your cut flowers will last a very long time. Once I had a huge refrigerator and I would put the cut flowers in the fridge over night...they lasted for weeks....It is all your choice.

Enjoy your flowers inside as well as outside of your home. It is great Power Feng Shui. If you went to so much planning, digging, weeding, pruning, clipping, watering, more weeding, then it is a delight that you deserve to enjoy.

Choose not the paths of sin & destruction. It will take you nowhere fast. Rise above all common pains and perils and let your spirit float out into the cosmos, to touch God. He is waiting for your call to connect with Him. Find quiet moments to let go of all of your pain, fears, sorrows and tasks and simply allow yourself to "rest in the Holy Spirit." A calming peace shall overtake you and move about your life making the repairs and orderly changes as you meditate upon Him. Let the mind clear and empty out all pressures that bind you. He will do the work upon your spirit. He is the healer and the Rock of your soul foundation. He will listen to your sorrows and pour added strength upon you, making it much easier to achieve your purposes. It is His Holy spiritual power that shall lift you out of all physical, spiritual, emotional or intellectual dangers that surround you. Gather not the storm clouds of fear into your soul. Release all that is not of God in your spirit. Press closer into His Holy presence to elevate your spirit to the highest level. He will be there for you. God wants you to feel His peaceful presence in all things within your life. He will find ways to open doors that have been closed off to you previously. He will make miracles happen for you. He only waits upon you to call out to Him with your love. He will provide in all ways to send deliverance so you may have relief from your problems. He is a loving and caring Father to all upon the earth.

Go forth in confidence, sharing goodness and love among those people that surround your life. Start fresh. Repair damage you may have done if it is possible. If it is not possible to right those wrongs you are responsible for, ask that God show mercy to the ones you may have hurt by your deeds. He will do that for you. Ask for His strength to carry you on past the present complications and to intercede in your life. He will never disappoint you. He only waits for your call.

Find Him in moments of anxiety, within your own spirit, as He dwells there too. Go within the comfort of His presence to create moments to reach out to Him. Touch the part of your soul that is "at peace" with God. It will begin to flow forth with an abundance of peace over the most impossible of issues. Ways will be made by the Almighty God to help and bless you, as you seek Him.

Wait no longer. No one will do this for you. It remains a personal soul journey always. Seek while He may be found and ask what you will. Know that His peace passeth all understanding. It will become your peace, as He ministers to your soul. The help and blessings that will pour forth from the abundant storehouse of the Lord's riches in Glory may be yours. It all begins with the asking.

Seek higher ways of wisdom, reading the scriptures to gain understanding and to perfect your soul to it's highest state of grace. There are keys in His Word that can unlock all doors for you. He knocks at your heart's door and waits. Only you can allow Him to enter and change your life. It all depends on you.

Ask what you will and it shall be done. Begin today to live a life of victory over defeat and problems. You will never regret it.

Nick, a horse friend of mine gave me a

This Red, White & Blue Flag Gift Bag came from a client's horse, Nick, that I have only recently met although I have been praying about him and doing readings on him, his health, his attitude and much more for about eight years. I joined his owner, my friend Karen when she was grazing him out by Los Colinas one afternoon recently. I came to pray for Nick's health. Not because I am special but because he is special to Karen and to all that love him. Certainly you pray for your friends animals, parents, fish, kids, teachers, ministers, and the list just goes on. Well Nick has been on my prayer list for a long time and I decided I needed to meet him in person.

When I got there Karen handed me this lovely Gift Bag and told me "Nick is a great shopper." She was so right. Tons of wonderful bath products and soaps, one shaped like a small (6") bee hive, and luxurious bubble bath. I was just going to meet him and he came with a gift. Wow!

Horses have such class!

Thank you Nick and certainly thank you Karen for letting me put a gorgeous face with a beautiful soul of a fine Spirit. Reading Nick for years has always made me curious as to what he looked like. I have seen only a couple of pictures of him before finally meeting him in person. He is huge, gentle and closely watching everything around him at any given moment. The day I was there I saw two separate little kids, 4-5 or so, both bring each of their parents up just to get close enough to touch him. Karen helped them pet him while they "visited Nick." It was awesome. Nick draws a crowd...love it.

When I went into his stall to pray for him he was eating his evening meal. Karen and I were both shocked that he actually left his food and came and circled around me without any anxiousness. I was honored by his trust. I learned long ago that animals sense the good or the God in you and either trust you or they do not. For Nick to leave his food and get close to me was just mind blowing to me. We bonded.

When he finished eating Karen said it was okay to start our prayers. She stroked him on one side and I only laid my hand on his mane and he barely flinched and allowed me to touch him. Again, I was honored by his trust. Just by touching him on different areas of his back or spine or hindquarters, I saw different visions of Nick's memories and was able to give Karen information about him having "flashbacks" of times he was afraid or people had abused him when he was a race horse with a whip vision and that explained how he flinched a lot when I touched him there and turned his head towards me. We both learned a lot by me getting to meet Nick in person. I am very grateful for Nick's sake for that.

One of the oddest things I have seen in my reading history with Nick is when his Farrier came and he got new shoes that were too tight and made him miserable and hurt him.

When I concentrated on visualizing Nick I caught a glimpse of him "walking with a limp" and looking like I do when I have new shoes that hurt so much I can barely walk. I try to avoid those. Instantly I KNEW that this was not the Farrier that was the right one for Nick.

Karen immediately found another Farrier and had him work on Nick's hooves and the problem was solved right away. Nick was really happy I am sure. I know I would have been.

I love to read animals and be a help to their owners. The love that our pets give us is "Unconditional" and that is why they are so precious to us. It is priceless. There is such joy in greeting our animals after a brief separation of the day's work, and having show off and perform for us just to get that love from us. Building love and trust with an animal is unlike any other experience of relationships. It truly is so unique with each one.

Love your animals. Adopt pets if you can from shelters or rescue agencies. They all need homes and love. Help if you can. It will be rewarded with undying love and affection...You will love it.

To my horse people, lay your hands on their back or mane or hindquarters, close your eyes and "tune in" to that energy of your own animal. With a moment's patience you might be surprised to "see" what visions reveal themselves to you about your animal. You will only help yourself understand your animal if you take time to "Tune Into Your Animal."

Again, thank you Karen but thank you Nick for letting me get close and share your love, acceptance, trust, and memories. I learned so much. I could instantly tell that it would be like to "run like the wind" with Nick. What a vision that was! I see why Karen adores him so.... He is soooooooo worth it!

Harry Potter and the Art, According to Thomas

I would think most of you if not all have seen at least one Harry Potter movie. I have seen them all more than once and from time to time I feel a desire to watch at least one of them again.

It's not only the classic story line we find in all movies, or books of the triumph of good over evil it's something deeper. Some truth was there but I couldn't get a handle on it until tonight, when it all became clear.

All the children at Hogwarts went thought the same training; some were like Hermione that knew the book inside and out. Others no matter how hard they tried it always turned out wrong and a few were always the ass no matter how hard they tried. Longbottom should come to mind.

Harry was not only a good (not great) student of magic but he felt it in his heart. With that he was able to achieve what he needed to. When times were tough he could pull the rabbit out of the hat. He not only knew magic he felt magic, he had no need to remember what spell to cast, it was automatic. It came from his gut; remember what I told you about your gut feelings, their seldom wrong. The other thing he used was emotion; he and I are alike in both respects.

When I healed my daughter I used raw emotion. I didn't have a clue about how to heal her I only knew I had to.

As I cast the circle I started remembering all the parents and children, the Nurses and Doctors. As the dark circle started to form I remembered their eyes (a window to your soul) from the Doctors and Nurses their words always gave you hope but their eyes held little.

The parent’s eyes were full of hope and fear as they held their children suffering from all kinds of debilitating defects. I'm sure my eyes looked the same.

But the eyes of the children pulled my heart from my chest. The innocence in most and the fear in others is something I will never forget, as they held tight to their mothers and my daughter was one of them.

That's when my mind screamed "not again it will not happen" and the healing began. I poured everything I had into her healing.

I didn't just use the love my wife and I felt for our daughter, I brought back the hundreds of eyes I had seen. I relived the fear, despair and unwavering love of all the parents, the innocence of the children and gathered it to myself.

That's when you must control your emotion and focus your thoughts to achieve the desired results. That's harder than you think, when all you want to do is fall on your knees and cry like a baby.

You may have been wondering why I waited so long before I healed my daughter. The truth is I was afraid, deathly afraid I would fail and had been since my wife asked me to "fix it". I know I told you not to doubt yourself but I'm human and had never done anything of that magnitude in my life. So I set a trap for myself, if I had tried earlier and failed I would have had another chance and probably more failures and I would begin to doubt myself. That's why I waited until the last minute because the only option I had was success. I was out of time.

By now you’re asking what this has got to do with Harry Potter. Well allow me to explain, the people of Hogwarts were the only family Harry ever had and he would do whatever it took to protect them. That is why he prevailed over things far more powerful. He used what he had and the fear of what would happen if he failed, together they allowed him to do more than he was able to do on his own.

So the next time you watch Harry Potter don't see a boy always getting himself in over his head. See a person willing to overcome anything for the ones he loves, even though he doesn't know how.

If you chose to pursue The Arts you will sooner or later find yourself in a similar situation.

Will you take hold of the fear and pain and turn it into intent, or will you let your emotions rule you?

One can never be sure until the time comes to pull the rabbit out of the hat.
