Chris and I share a sugar commitment and like all things "Cake" and sweet. I found a set of Palm Trees and Beach sandals frosted over cupcakes to inspire her for a Florida vacation next winter. We laughed and laughed and talked about listening to Jimmy Buffett's Margarita Ville music to "get prepared for Florida" when she winters there next year instead of frozen Monticello. YES!!!

Pamela is a great gardener so I found a cake and frosted cupcakes to look like a watermelon with eyes instead of seeds, and wispy frosting eyelashes and giant ants on top of it all.
Gardening cakes are not what I usually find so I was delighted to come across this "sweet deal" for Pamela, the master gardener.
No reunion is complete without men standing around swapping out stories. Fishing stories, hunting stories, kid stories, work stories and wife stories, are only a part of it. My all time favorite "How fast have you ever driven in a car or how fast were you traveling as a passenger in someone else's car? Really tall tales are told by all. Being the home of the Indy 500 Race there are lots of race stories too.

This grand-boy was the best head of hair there. I loved it. Looks a little like an Indian ready to go on the warpath. Ha ha. This was the coolest bunch of kids and they will remember all of the fun, always.

GOTTA HAVE FAITH Mural in Alexandria, Louisiana
This muralist created a totally powerful "Energy Blast" of Holy Spirit Ch'i on the side of a downtown building. It completely speaks for itself with the message it shares to all that pass by on the street where it is located. I took a picture of just the artist's signature but could not read it clearly.
The title however, "GOTTA HAVE FAITH" is simply a statement of what the mural depicts. Stepping out in Faith when there is no guarantee, no instructions, just our soul urging us on often appears like we are going off the deep end, without reason. A Holy Spirit Ch'i experience is just that. Not only stepping out in faith, but often a "Leap of Faith" into the Unknown, is required. It is the only way we will find our destiny for ourselves, our loves and the help we need to get there. The other choice is to sit and let it all go by without us. That can't be our best choice. We need to love ourselves, go forward and prosper in our bodies, minds, and spirits, in our work and our play and in all areas of our lives, and the portion of our lives we share with others.
Truly whether we ever visually "see" the Hand of God, it remains there for us all to find a sense of peace, comfort, clarity, Holiness and safety. The only way we can get there is reach out to receive that "Energy Blast" of Holy Spirit Ch'i with our faith.. True, the times are harder than some others, but the Cosmic Creator God is bigger than it all.
Sit in a park, by the water, in a crowd of people and just experience the "Energy Blast" those people bring with them, throughout their day, wherever they may be. Look into their faces and recognize their faith and draw from that for yourself. Send out positive healing energy into the Universe, starting with those you see around you. Forgive people. Let things go. Free yourself of guilt, doubt, judgment, and condemnation. Give yourself a new start. Give others a new start with you. "Energy Blast" your Holy Spirit Ch'i and change your life for the good, for now and always. YOU GOTTA HAVE FAITH....

Dallas World Aquarium Car Advertising Ch'i
Shopping at the downtown Dallas WalMart market store, I was about to park next to the Dallas World Aquarium car with this wild and crazy attention-getting logo on it and thought better of it. I preferred getting a picture of what one would be seeing as it goes by on the highways and byways of Dallas with its "Save the Frogs...Save the World" inspiration.
This delightful Frog celebrity is having a fantastic run stirring up the Aquarium Ch'i so folks will want to go and enjoy the marine life. I would say he is doing a great job. Children that passed this little minivan simply went crazy when they saw it. I did too. Very small children were every bit as excited to see the giant Frog "out and about" in Dallas and to touch him.
This is so kid-friendly; little ones think it is just for them. I love it. Thank you Dallas World Aquarium for your wonderful inspiration to share the "Save the Frogs...Save the World" message and to share it in and around town with this totally delightful little minivan. Bringing those children and their parents into the Aquarium and teaching them respect for the Frogs, all marine life and the Planet is huge for our green future on this Earth. Educating one at a time will spread and others will learn these valuable planet saving measures perhaps from a visit or watching the giant Frog from the Dallas World Aquarium pass by or park in the area, and lead their curiosity or their parents' will lead them there.
Love that Dallas World Aquarium and the work it does educating all that come there. Dallas World Aquarium is doing just that. We admire and appreciate the lesson here for our eco-friendly future.

Main Street Cheese & Wine shop

On my recent July trip to Lafayette, Indiana a brand new specialty store had appeared. This is Main Street Cheese & Wine shop. In the right side upper window they have used a garland of dripping grapes to express Abundance, directly above their logo sign. They want to bring that Abundance Ch'i (Cosmic Breath of God) to their business and chose this grape icon to do just that for them.
By adding planters that are rectangular, they bring in growth of the Wood Element. Adding gold or yellow blooming plants brings Prosperity/Good Health to the mix. Angel Point of Light is an Instant Inspiration
This lovely free standing angel gently moves her Holy Cross back and forth with a right arm movement, as she holds a shining star in her left hand.
I bought her and two others at a WalMart during the Christmas season to use for display purposes several years ago. I take her for my table decoration when I attend Psychic Fairs, Metaphysical Events, or teach about Angels. I find that when I bring her with me, people of all faiths visit with me as all cultures embrace a belief in angels and Heavenly beings. It is a point of trust in those things that we share and the Angel makes it easy to recognize that in each other.
For years I packed up all my icons and display items after each event and took them to storage. I simply never enjoyed them except for the few hours each month. One day I decided to use the Angel just to remind me to pray when I walked past it. I actually place names of loved ones and clients on the shelf top with the angel, with pictures of Saints and Holy Icons. It is odd or rather I have learned to say "It's God" that these requests are answered with miracles so quickly.

Pamela's New Deck & Backyard Cookout Social Life
in Logansport, Indiana
This is Pamela's brand new Deck & Backyard Cookout addition. It has really "fired up" her social life. Her friends don't miss a Friday or Saturday night hanging out for fun, food, and frivolity. They just love it. She is quite the cook with her new rotesserie and grill. Sometimes she is cookin' Sundays too. It is most excellent.
Her friend Mike can build anything and he helped her to pull it all together with stones and 14 foot boards. She had already built the gold fish pond several years ago and enjoys the peace it brings into the backyard. She has added her Florida and nautical art icon pieces to enhance the atmosphere for the tropics. There is a chiminnea for a little fire warmth when the sun goes down. The night I was there it was 69 degrees so we lit it
up and enjoyed its warmth as we enjoyed the warmth of the love of our friends.
hen the rain shows up, the party is always moved into the garage. Pamela's garage is not only organized but filled with Danica art, one of the Stars of the Indianapolis 500 race and crazy nonsense to make you laugh, including the all American Blue Collar butt crack picture.
There is a fridge filled with beer, wine, and margarita pre-mixed frozen delights. As you can see, Danica rules.
No garage is complete without perfectly organized tools and peg boards. Pamela certainly is prepared for anything, mechanical or gardening.
Party lights come on during the rainstorms and the garage looks completely different. The soft lighting always changes the setting, which changes our mood.
This is Pam's precious Danica, named, you guessed it, for the race car driver. Just because Danica or Dannie as we sometimes call her is a 500 fan, does not mean she neglects those Indianapolis Colts. She is tastefully wrapped in her very own Colt's blanket so she doesn't get a chill. She just loves all of the attention and everyone loves to give it to her.
Pam's collection of coffee mugs hang close to the coffee pot. There is a crystal hung in the doorway to bounce the Power Feng Shui Ch'i signals and Light right on through the kitchen and into the dining area and to continue on into the house.
Her Prayer changes things plaque serves to remind others that this is a house where prayer is treasured.
Pam's office space has lots of Danica autographed treasures from the Indy 500 track, as they call it. Danica is a huge celebrity on the racing circuit and Pamela and Kent, her brother, are huge fans. Even her computer monitor screen sends that "Danica" Ch'i out into the Universe. "It is all good" as they say.
Know you enjoyed Pamela's New Deck and Cookout Backyard Social setting. All her friends do. She is the "it" place since the deck went down. Many thanks to Mike for his building expertise and the layout and construction of the deck and the stone he and Pam placed around the pond area and along the back walls. It really "set it off" with the entire experience here. Leveling all of the dirt during the "prep" work and carrying it out in multiple wheel barrow trips was a huge effort. There were lots and lots of loads of dirt that had to be removed and the leveling had to be exact. Mike and Pam made a great team and made this Cookout Backyard Social setting a huge success.
Thanks to Pamela for sharing with us her fun and unique decorating delights and super deluxe Cookout extravaganza. I just loved it. The food was excellent too. Am looking forward to seeing Pamela and all of her "peeps" as they call them, out back around the grill. What an excellent concept and makeover of the existing backyard space and what a party scene it has become. Congratulations to Mike and Pam for the attention to every detail they gave this makeover. It shows. Enjoy!
Plano Grandy's Chicken Balloon Ch'i
This is some serious Grandy's Chicken Ch'i they brought in to help get customers in to buy their chicken with this economy. The huge balloon sat in the parking lot for several days here in Plano just down the street from my home. It did catch people's attention and I noticed there was more traffic to the restaurant. I am all for whatever works. Stirring up the interest is stirring up the Ch'i, the Cosmic Breath of God, for more business. People were stopping just to see the giant Grandy's chicken. Whatever works...Good luck Grandy's on your giant Chicken Balloon Ch'i.

This is my precious friend and prayer partner Sharon Daggett, coming home in late evening in Delray Beach, Florida. This magnificent Angel's Trumpet bush/tree greets her when she arrives. The lovely Pink and White blooms bring Love/Romance/Relationship and Creativity/Children's energies to "bloom" when this tree is covered at its height of beauty, after dark. Kim & Warren Decorate Their Home Together

Here we see the foyer and the mirror that bounces the Ch'i as it sends its energies throughout all parts of the home. It is perfectly placed here to achieve the maximum effect for both upstairs and down. The stairs and landing give a great view of the Pool Room Recreational area. "Everyone in the family enjoys playing a great game of pool," Kim says.
At the top of the stairs is the guest bedroom. Kim's husband Warren totally reinvented the guest bedroom for his mother's visits. The wall paint is a soft Golden color to surround family members and guests with Prosperity/Good Health. The Champagne color of the new linen is a tone of Gold as well. He framed pictures of the family at play and in the far left corner, The Wealth/Empowerment and Love/Relationship because of the extreme right side entry of the doorway, are both in this location. Having the wedding pictures displayed here, lifted up higher than eye level to raise the Good Ch'i energies, shows that the foundation of this family began here, with this couple. It is a lovely tribute to their love and their family as well.
When Warren's mother visits she is surrounded by family energies to enjoy and remember, as do the other guests that stay over for shared fun and family experiences. When she visits, it gives her special comfort to know that she is in a room that her son custom designed for her. What a lovely thought for any mother!
Again, the golden tones of the walls surround each guest that bunks in here with Prosperity/Good Health energies. The champagne color of the duvet is also a tone of gold as well.
All of the White plantation shutters "fire up" the Creativity/Children/Intellectual Descendents on the Future/Fame/Recognition wall. The back wall of every room is the Fame/Recognition/Future wall so whatever you place there gets a "lift" of those energies. Remember to place pictures or icons up higher than eye level. You want the Ch'i (Cosmic Breath of "God) to "rise" for those energies you are placing here.

In Kim's and Warren's own bedroom they have chosen to use more tones of Gold (Prosperity/Good Health) accented with Purple for Wealth/Empowerment energies to uplift these things in their lives. The two chairs in the Wealth/Empowerment & Love & Relationship corner here symbolically mean both she and Warren have a equal say in their futures in all things.
In the master bathroom there is a separate closet for the toilet, the very best presentation in Feng Shui. The accent of flowers and towels is again Purple for Wealth/Empowerment. The Black (Career/Self/Destiny) lingerie chest is in the center entry wall that elevates Career Ch'i and the many drawers show abundance here.

Tribute to Our Service Men and Women Everywhere
In July we celebrate our freedom. We would be unable to do that without the lives and commitment of our Armed Forces all over the world protecting the freedom we enjoy in America. Show your love and support to our troops as they answered America's call to action. They deserve our honor and respect for the hard missions they perform in harm's way, for us.
This heartbreaking tribute to our service personnel that have lost their lives in defense of their country, arrived via email. I have no idea who sent it to me but I could not get these pictures out of my mind. Just because the national, state and local news hardly carries any news on the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan does not mean heartbreak does not continue for those that loved and lost these precious lives, and those that have children and loved ones there now.
WE MUST HONOR OUR TROOPS FOR THEIR FAITHFUL SERVICE TO THE COUNTRY, THE AMERICA THAT IS OUR HOME AND THEIRS. So many have died and been wounded inside and out for always. The loved ones that never will see their precious loved one again will never recover. Keep them forever in your prayers. It is the very least we can do, to pray for their mates and children and grandchildren that may never know them except for the memories.
Love our people that lay down their lives by keeping them in your thoughts and prayers and helping in any measure you can to encourage them in any way. Look around your community and see how you can help. Any help to comfort, show compassion, or simply share just a piece of their burden will be greatly appreciated.
These are disciplined, mature, trained individuals that will systematically defend their country until the death if need be. LET US NEVER FORGET WHAT THEY HAVE DONE FOR US ALL.
MAY GOD BLESS EACH AND EVERY MEMBER OF THE ARMED FORCES, NOW AND IN THE PAST, AND IN THE YEARS TO COME WITH BLESSINGS OF PROTECTION AND LOVE AND COMPASSION OF OTHERS. Holy Mary...Mother of God
Got this in an email and thought it might help those that feel a connection to the Divine Mother, Holy Mary, Mother of God.
People of all faiths pray to her, men and women and children alike. She is a prayer warrior for us. Being a mother I feel a closer connection to her.
All mothers pray and grieve for life's circumstances, and hope for changes. This will change your life, even though it seems simple. We really don't have time for lengthy prayers in today's world. Ask her blessing each day with this simple prayer. She really does show up and help all that seek her. Give her a try. Your Holy Spirit Ch'i will improve immediately. Be blest.
Subject: Hail Mary
You may have gotten the picture before but I am sending it on because I thought the legend was kind of neat.
Years ago I was a member of a church group that passed a framed picture of the Virgin Mary from house to house.
According to the legend surrounding the picture, this same picture had been passed from house to house since 1938 and was passed through the 2nd world war, in secret for fear of confiscation, discovery, and retaliation from the enemy. (I supposed it was Hitler, but some people thought it could be a number of anti-catholic groups.)
We were to keep the picture for a period of two weeks and then pass it on. I received the picture twice (must have known I needed the help!!) and the last time I passed it on I never heard about it again.
To add to the mystery of the picture it was passed on by only one person. You gave it to that person and requested it be passed on to...and you would name the person. This was the way it was handled through the years, the idea being to protect the people receiving the picture.
Have you ever heard of this before?
